You can guarantee that the fit, finish and craftsmanship are far superior to off-the-shelf-solutions and no compromises have to be made. What we offer can range from bespoke shelving made to fit a specific area, to products that fulfill a certain purpose or function in your home because it does not already exist to be bought online. We also use various different design software packages that allow us to show our clients what their finished product will look like or see it with a different finish, material or colour, making any final changes before we start production.
3D CAD MODELLING
Create & Visualize Your Designs
If you have an idea of a product or project and would like to bring it to life by having it made and modelled in 3D CAD software, we can help. By doing this, we can help you visualize your idea by creating a highly detailed model by working alongside you to decide dimensions, materials, colours and how it can be made. As well as breathing life into your concept by creating high-quality images of the final design. We will then construct a plan for you of the best way of producing/ assembling your product or design, depending on the facilities and tools you have available to you. If you are limited by time or the tools you have available to you, we offer a build service where we could take care of the whole process for you, using your design. If you are assembling the final design, you will receive a set of detailed drawings and instructions for you to do so with. This could be in the form of a cut list, bill of materials, instructions, drawings, diagrams or a combination of them all.
INTERIOR & EXTERIOR SPACE PLANNING & LAYOUTS
Fine tune your space efficiently with a detailed layout
Space planning is an important part of the design process when producing an interior or exterior layout of home alterations. Our service can allow you to envision and optimise your space accurately and efficiently. We start with an in-depth analysis of how the space is to be used and the items to be included, e.g. furniture. We then draw up a plan that defines the zones of the space and the activities that will take place in those zones. The space plan will also define the circulation patterns that show how people will move through the area. The plan is finished by adding details of all of the furniture, equipment and hardware placement. The more common plans we have clients request, tend to be home gyms and home interior layouts when renovations are being made.

You can completely change the look/style of a room by simply reviving or restoring the furniture that's in it. Whether it's an antique piece of furniture that has seen better days and you cannot bare to get rid of, or a more modern piece that no longer matches the decor of a room, we can give it a new lease of life. We use a variety of methods to repair, paint or finish furniture. This can save the cost of buying new furniture or the inconvenience of attempting to do it yourself, this is due to some restoration or painting methods being very difficult and time-consuming to achieve. We use high-quality materials with durable paint and lacquers to ensure that your furniture will not be prone to marking and can withstand the test of time.

Since the fairly recent introduction of 3D printing technology the creation of one-off items, complex designs and unique, hard to come by parts has never been easier. At JB Custom Designs we determine the best material and print configuration to achieve the optimum end result and functionality for your printed products. Fully understanding that not everybody has the ability to use design software to create a digital CAD model to be printed, we offer a CAD service where we can create your design, or adjust an existing one of yours so it is suitable for 3D printing.
